Kalkan
- Plenty Of Turkish Cuisine To Enjoy
There
are plenty of fish restaurants to enjoy,
especially by the harbour. Many of the
local restaurants also offer local dishes
which are highly recommended. There is
some international cuisine such as
Italian, however there is not much. There
are a few bars in Kalkan with live music
and DJ\'s. If you wanted a really lively
night, then head over to Kas for more bars
and nightclubs. There are plenty of
tourist shops for you to look at where you
will find plenty of souvenirs to take
home. There are also many crafts
available, that you will only find in
Kalkan. The public transport in Kalkan is
very good, with regular buses to Kas,
Patara and Fethiye.
Kalkan

summer in Kalkan is very hot with
temperatures in August hitting 35°C. You
will also see over 13 hours a day of pure
sunshine. January and February tend to be
the coldest months, however temperatures
can still reach above 15°C. There are
over 320 days of pure sunshine a year in
Kalkan making it one of the most popular
destinations to visit. The water tends to
be very warm as well making the beach an
even more popular place to go during the
day. It also makes water sports a lot more
enjoyable. From June until September, you
are highly unlikely to see any rain in the
