Surrounded
by rugged cliffs and sparkling waters,
this place brings a whole new meaning
to the phrase 'beachfront setting'.
You'll find no less than five private
beaches here, all with different
themes. Activity Beach comes with a
volleyball pitch and a great selection
of watersports, including scuba diving
and surfing. And Family Beach was
designed with the little ones in mind
– it's got a snack bar and plenty of
shady spots. For the ultimate escape,
though, board a shuttle boat or borrow
one of the hotel's rowing boats and
paddle across the bay to Natural, Palm
or Silent Beach. These secluded
stretches of sand come with gorgeous
views and luxury sun loungers.
The scene is just as impressive inside
the hotel. Take the lobby, for
example. All sleek furniture, little
palms and floor-to-ceiling windows
that showcase the sea, it's got a
distinctly tropical feel to it. The
bedrooms here look the part, too.
Kitted out with chic furnishings and
Zen-like whitewashed walls, they
wouldn't look out of place in a New
York penthouse. Plus you can choose
between sea-view and mountain-view
rooms.
When it comes to keeping yourself
busy, meanwhile, the Club Resort
Select has got it covered. There are
two huge swimming pools – one inside
and one outside – as well as a
state-of-the-art fitness centre, which
runs daily exercise classes. If you
want to take the tempo down a touch,
though, head to the spa for some VIP
indulgence. As well relaxing in hot
tubs, saunas and an original Turkish
hammam, you can choose from a lengthy
menu of treatments.
You're also spoilt for choice on the
dining front. There are five
restaurants in total – two buffets
serving up international dishes, and
three a la cartes specialising in
Turkish cuisine and Asia-Euro fusions.
